The major attractions include in this trip are Manali, Rohtang Pass, unpredictable Baralachla Pass, picturesque view of Sarchu, Tanglangla Pass (the second highest motorable pass in the world), Leh (the beautiful tiny city), land of lama’s & monasteries, Khardungla (the highest motorable road in the world), Nubra valley (the cold desert) where you can ride on double humped camel in magical sand dunes, the magical color changing Pangong TSO, Magnetic hill, confluence of Indus and Zanskar river, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, splendor of Indian victory Kargil War Memorial, Srinagar (heaven of the world ), the world famous Dal lake and many more. Itinerary
Day 1  Delhi to Manali

An early morning wake up and meeting at India Gate followed by a quick briefing session and now this is the time to start the life time dream trip to Manali at wee hours via Karnal (breakfast), Ambala (quick break), Kiratpur (lunch),Mandi and Kullu.

Day 2  Local Sightseeing in Manali

After having delicious breakfast, get ready for local sightseeing and visit Solang Valley can enjoy paragliding, visit Hadimba temple, Vashisht village where you may take dips at hot water spring, Mall road market, wrap up any last minute shopping and come back to hotel by evening,  and gear up for your adventurous ride thorough Pir panjal range of the great Himalaya, the very next day.

Day 3  Manali to Sarchu

Early morning after having heavy healthy breakfast hit the road (The Leh - Manali Highway)to Sarchu, driving across white Rohtang Pass (13,050 ft) and passing through green Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Sarchu in the late afternoon .Overnight in fixed camp at picturesque Sarchu.

Day 4  Sarchu to Leh

After early breakfast leave for Leh, have to cross Gata Loops the 21 hair pin bends and will get  the chance to ride on all types of road i.e tarmac, stony, quick and unbelievable U turn and that’s why, often call by many as the “Highway to Hell”. Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Tanglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening .Overnight in hotel.

Day 5  Rest day at Leh

After a hearty breakfast, set out for local sightseeing, exploring Leh and the neighboring attractions, visiting Shanti Stupa, Jama Masjid, Leh Palace, Polo Grounds, and the War Museum to name a few. In the later part of the day, check and gear up the bikes as necessary and get ready for the adventure that is to follow the next day.

Day 6  Leh to Nubra via Khardungla

Gear up and speed off on the smooth tarmac to meet the board showing The Highest Motorable road in the world, after having a quick photo session head toward Khardung village where you can have a quick break for tea and snacks, after crossing Khalsar and Diskit and will enter in the fascinating magical sand dunes of Nubra valley  Overnight stay at camp.

Day 7  Nubra To Pangong via Shyok Route

Instead of coming back to Leh from Nubra, we will head towards Pangong  Lake via Shyok route. This will give us an additional opportunity to ride/drive as real off roading, water crossing and save a day as well where we will get the chance to ride along with SHYOK RIVER. We have to take left turn from DURBUK. After crossing Tangtse you will see the first view of world famous Pangong TSO .Overnight stay at camp.

Day 8  Pangong to Leh via Chang la

After spending an unforgettable night on the bank of Pangong TSO, post breakfast head toward Leh enroute will cross the Changla Pass ( 3rd highest motorable pass). Have a quick break at Karu for refreshment. Overnight stay at Hotel in Leh.

Day 9  Leh to Kargil

The road from Leh to Kargil, which resembles a runway, constitutes the first part of the day’s journey, feel the magic of magnetic hill, pray at Gurudwara pathar sahib. En route the journey, visit the Lamayuru monastary, which is the highest monastery in Ladakh and then, cross the Fotu La, which is the highest pass on the Leh - Srinagar road, and descend down to stop at Kargil. The entire population in Ladakh is Buddhist while the entire population in Kargil is Islamic, and thus, the journey from Ladakh to Kargil is symbolic in its own way, signifying a transformation, as you traverse from one world to another, regionally as well as “religionally.”

Day 10  Kargil to Srinagar

Begin riding and cross Drass - the second coldest inhabited place on earth after Siberia (Russia) and visit the Drass war museum to pay respects and pray for the peace of the brave souls of the valiant jawans who fought and sacrificed their lives during the Kargil war of 1999. Pave way to reach the majestic Tiger hill and salute the brave Indian Army and the national flag - ‘Tiranga’ and yet again, feel the pride of being an Indian.
Ride to cross Zoji La and descend down to Sonmarg while leaving behind the arid, dry and vegetation - less yet picturesque Ladakh to be greeted by the starkly contrasting greenery of Sonmarg, one of the most beautiful parts of the “Heaven on Earth - Kashmir”. Visit the Dal Lake for a shikara ride, the Mughal Gardens, the Shankracharya Temple and other tourist attractions on reaching Srinagar.

Cross the gateway to Kashmir which is heavily guarded by the Indian army, and then, pass through the historical Jawahar Tunnel to enter the newly constructed the very longest tunnel of India (Chenani -  Nasri Tunnel) then enter in warm and sunny Udhampur/ Jammu region. Finally, be grateful to God for having successfully completed one of the toughest drives in the world not only safely but also while immersing in every moment of its awe inspiring beauty at the same time, reach Pathankot by evening and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12  Pathankot to Delhi

After having north Indian the most famous Punjabi breakfast, start your journey to Delhi, cross Ludhiana, Ambala and reach Delhi by evening. Tour concludes with lots of unforgettable memories.

  • Any part of package is not availed by the client; refunds cannot be claimed for any part of package exchangeable with any services.
  • In case of extension of a tour is required, supplements as applicable would be paid directly to us by the clients.

Important Notes

  • Participants should be there in tour start city at least one day prior.
  • Participants are requested to pack their stuff in backpack and not the trolley bag.
  • 10,000/- Rs refundable security amount would be required for rented bike.
  • Participants are requested to follow the timing in the program, in case any service are missed due to delay in departure, the company will not be responsible for any refund.
  • Crazy Riders Adventure Tours reserve the rights to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance occurred (i.e whether condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
  • Vehicle should be registered on your own name. As Ladakh transport union doesn’t allow outside vehicle to roam in Ladakh if not registered on your name.

Confirmation & Refund policy

  • 25% deposit would be required at the time of booking.
  • 75% deposit would be required on 15 days prior to trip start day.
  • 20% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges for booking once made.
  • No refund will be there if cancellation made within 15 days to start the trip.


  • Q. Which is the best time for Leh Ladakh Bike Trip?

    A. Route from both side i.e Sringar and Manali to Leh is open from June to September. So these months are best to do road trip for Ladakh.

  • Q. Which is the best bike for Ladakh trip?

    A. Any 150cc+ is enough for Ladakh tour but Royal Enfield is the most popular bike among all for Ladakh.

  • Q. Can 2 people ride on a bike? Pillion is allowed? If yes then pricing for that?

    Yes 2 people can ride on a bike. Itís depend on the capacity of your bike only. We are charging per head only.

  • Q. If Pillion rider is allowed will it not be difficult to carry two peoples luggage in a single bike?

    A. No, if you have installed Ladakh Carrier on your bike and if you have limited stuff with you. Anyway if you have extra luggage with cant be accommodate on bike then luggage can be accommodated on back up vehicle.

  • Q. Do you provide any backup vehicle which will carry our luggage and petrol?

    A. Yes you will followed by a backup vehicle.
    1. Backup vehicle is supposed to be used for breakdowns and emergency case.
    2. We advice all the bikers to install Ladakh Carrier on their bike and carry limited stuffs for this trip.
    3. We will share the complete list of required stuff once the booking is confirmed.

  • Q. Will there be bike mechanic and medical support team during this trip?

    A. Yes, mechanic will be there and first aid trained tour captains will be there on the trip.

  • Q. I have my own Royal Enfield bike but I am not yet sure whether to bring my bike or rent one. So can I book for the tour now without bike and then pay for bike just before the trip if needed.?

    A. Donít worry. Its not an issue for us that you are coming with your own bike or rented bike, as we also prefer own bike rather than rented bike because you are much aware with your own machine. You can get the rented bike just before trip also, but at that time there are too rush of bikers to rent the bike and charges would be high at that time, you will also get very fewer option to select the good bike so its just an advice to book your bike in prior to avoid rush and nothing else.

  • Q. As my vehicle is Karnataka/Maharastra/Other states registered, do I need any permission for travelling during this trip?

    A. Vehicle should be registered on your name only and original Registration Certificate, PUC and insurance is required.

  • Q. Can we have any option in bikes?

    A. Yes, you have other options of Bajaj Avenger, Bajaj Pulsar 150cc, Yamaha FZ. (We can also provide you Harley Davidson bike on additional cost).

  • Q. What about the condition of bikes?

    A. We provide all bikes in perfect conditions, with adding new bikes to our fleet every year.

  • Q. Is the fuel cost including in this trip?

    A. No, the fuel cost is not included in this trip.

  • Q. How is the condition of road during whole trip?

    A. 60% Roads are in good condition, in other 40% you can experience off road driving.

  • Q. What riding gear do I need for Ladakh trip?

    A. This is the kind of trip riding gear is made for. Get a riding jacket, pants, shoes, gloves and full face helmet. Keep in mind that all of your riding gear should be good to go against rain, hail and snow.

  • Q. What if my bike gets damaged and we need to wait for assistance from nearby village? Will the team move forward? Will there be anyone from the organizing team to be with me waiting until the helps arrived?

    A. Yes we make arrangement, and a team member will be with you until the problem resolved.

  • Q. What will be the size of each batch? Minimum & Maximum?

    A. Minimum 25 maximum 40 pax.

  • Q. Can people with a car join? If yes then do they need to pay petrol charge? And in case of breakage of that personal car, will you be able to provide support? Will that be chargeable?

    A.Of Course guests can join us with a CAR/SUV/JEEP/.Our package is excluding of fuel charges for all segments. Expert bike mechanic and backup vehicle driver will be there but with minor knowledge of 4 wheelers but they can fix the problems on temporary basis.

  • Q. Is there any lack of oxygen during trip?

    A. Anybody travelling 10,000 feet above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. The biggest cause of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is dehydration. People on the trip forget to drink enough water, they just keep on riding.
    To beat AMS, take the following steps:
    1. Drink lots and lots of water mixed with glucose.
    2. Take everything slow. Even little labor at high altitudes will leave you spent.
    3. Take one Diamox at Manali on the morning when you leave for Leh. Diamox takes one hour to start working.
    4. Donít push too hard, take the trip slow. Ascent slowly, decent slowly.
    5. If you feel the symptoms creeping up, stop and take some rest. Donít keep pushing.

  • Q. Food is included? What type of food? How many times?

    A. Yes. MAP (all Breakfast & Dinner 12 days).

  • Q. All accommodation in Hotels? Or tents too?

    A. Both in (70%:30%) ratio.

  • Q. If Hotels then what types of Hotels?

    A. Deluxe or 3 Star as per location.

  • Q. In case of Tents what type of tent? Igloo type? Waterproof? Will you provide bedsheets and pillow? Sleeeping bags? What about toilets?

    A. Swiss cottage, Waterproof, luxurious camps with bed.. swiss cottage tent comprises of a master bedroom with attached bathroom.

  • Q. My girlfriend also wants to join. So I am bit worried about safety and also washroom facilities during daytime. Can you explain on this?

    A. Most welcome no need to worry at all. We maintain strict discipline. Each and every guests has to follow the basic rules. There are so many public convenience at shops enroute hence she can use it.

  • Q. What is the amount of Tax on actual package cost?

    A. As of now its 4% but it would may change as 9% as per GOI notice.

  • Q. On day 1, it is showing Delhi to Pathankot which is around 500KM, so are we traveling all this distance by bike on single day?

    A. Yes, first day and last day we have to cover approx 500 KM and we all have to cover that distance by their own mode of transport i.e if any one joining us by bike then he/she will cover the distance by bike and same with the car. We have to travel on butter like highway in plains, so its not an issue. Thatís why we will start the trip from Delhi by early morning so we will reach Pathankot by 6 or 7 PM in the evening. And rest of the day we are covering just only 150-200 KMs.

  • Q. Which network is accessible?

    A. During whole trip you can get BSNL network at some places, in Manali you can get every mobile network but in Ladakh region you can only access postpaid BSNL, Idea, Airtel and Vodafone.
