Hardly explored by travellers; Gangtok proves to be one destination that is rich in history, culture and scenic beauty. An important trade centre between India and China for a long time; it is today a busy administrative and business centre and presents an interesting mix of cultures and communities. This tour package lets you behold not only beautiful attractions of Gangtok like Baba Mandir and Tsomgo Lake but also to some lesser known surrounding territories like Pelling and Namchi. On these five days expedition, you might explore something unique at every turn; some regions might be barren while other perfectly carpeted with the blanket of tea leaves, but what remains constant is the scenic view of mountain Kanchenjunga, which will stay with you throughout the journey. In short, this trip can give you a perfect adventurous ride experience.

Itinerary
1  NJP RLY STN/ IXB AIRPORT – GANGTOK

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri), you will meet our representatives, who will further transfer you to a hotel in Gangtok. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you can indulge in some shopping and pick some handicrafts, handlooms, and souvenir.

2  EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE, BABA MANDIR & Nathula PASS

Kickstart your day with a hearty meal as today is going to be a fun day. According to your pre-decided schedule, you will be visiting Tsomgo Lake (12,400 Feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. After spending few minutes at the lake, you will visit the Baba Mandir (13,200 Feet) and the world famous Nathula Pass. Dinner and Overnight stay at Gangtok.

3  GANGTOK – PELLING via CHARDHAM

Post breakfast; embark on a ride to Pelling, a tiny hamlet located in the West Sikkim. During the journey from Gangtok to Pelling, you will stop at Namchi where you will be going for sightseeing to Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). At the Siddheshwar Dham, you can see a replica of all the 12 Jyotirlingas and four Dhams and 108 feet high statue of Lord Shiva. On arrival in Pelling, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

4  PELLING SIGHTSEEING

Early morning, treat yourself to the beautiful view of mountains. In the first half of the day, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. Then in the second half, you will visit Pemayangtse Monastery (one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim), Rabdentse Ruins, and New Helipad Ground. Dinner and overnight stay at Pelling hotel.

5  PELLING – IXB AIRPORT

Post breakfast, Check out and embark on a drive from the hotel to reach New Jalpaiguri railway station (Siliguri) or Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri). Overnight stay at Bagdogra.

6  DEPART FOR HOME

Post breakfast, Check out for airport and flyoff for your place.

  • Lunch throughout the tour.

  • Any personal expenses like room service, donation, tips, drinks, bar & beverage, mineral water, laundry and telephone.
  • All items/services not specially mentioned in the inclusion.
  • No bill will be reimbursed against any missed service/facility.
  • Any part of package is not availed by the client; refunds cannot be claimed for any part of package exchangeable with any services.
  • In case of extension of a tour is required, supplements as applicable would be paid directly to us by the clients.
  • Govt. Service Tax as per actual would be charged on the package cost.
  • Additional accommodation / food cost incurred due to any delay
  • Vehicle servicing or maintenance cost
  • Cost incurred to transfer or tow the motorbike in case it is dropped on the way.


Important Notes

  • Participants are requested to pack their stuff in backpack and not the trolley bag.
  • Facility to carry luggage in a vehicle restricted to 1 Rucksack / Dufflebag of 60 Liters  per motorbike.
  • 10,000/- Rs refundable security amount would be required for rented bike.
  • Participants are requested to follow the timing in the program, in case any service are missed due to delay in departure, the company will not be responsible for any refund.
  • Crazy Riders Adventure Tours reserve the rights to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance occurred (i.e whether condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.

Confirmation & Refund policy

  • Booking will be based on First come First serve.
  • 9999/- INR would be required at the time of booking.
  • Remaining amount you can pay till the one month prior of trip start.
  • 20% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation charges for booking once made.
  • No refund will be there if cancellation made within 15 days to start the trip.


  • Q. Which is the best time for Leh Ladakh Bike Trip?

    A. Route from both side i.e Sringar and Manali to Leh is open from June to September. So these months are best to do road trip for Ladakh.

  • Q. Which is the best bike for Ladakh trip?

    A. Any 150cc+ is enough for Ladakh tour but Royal Enfield is the most popular bike among all for Ladakh.

  • Q. Can 2 people ride on a bike? Pillion is allowed? If yes then pricing for that?

    Yes 2 people can ride on a bike. Its depend on the capacity of your bike only. We are charging per head only.

  • Q. If Pillion rider is allowed will it not be difficult to carry two peoples luggage in a single bike?

    A. No, if you have installed Ladakh Carrier on your bike and if you have limited stuff with you. Anyway if you have extra luggage with cant be accommodate on bike then luggage can be accommodated on back up vehicle.

  • Q. Do you provide any backup vehicle which will carry our luggage and petrol?

    A. Yes you will followed by a backup vehicle.
    1. Backup vehicle is supposed to be used for breakdowns and emergency case.
    2. We advice all the bikers to install Ladakh Carrier on their bike and carry limited stuffs for this trip.
    3. We will share the complete list of required stuff once the booking is confirmed.

  • Q. Will there be bike mechanic and medical support team during this trip?

    A. Yes, mechanic will be there and first aid trained tour captains will be there on the trip.

  • Q. I have my own Royal Enfield bike but I am not yet sure whether to bring my bike or rent one. So can I book for the tour now without bike and then pay for bike just before the trip if needed.?

    A. Dont worry. Its not an issue for us that you are coming with your own bike or rented bike, as we also prefer own bike rather than rented bike because you are much aware with your own machine. You can get the rented bike just before trip also, but at that time there are too rush of bikers to rent the bike and charges would be high at that time, you will also get very fewer option to select the good bike so its just an advice to book your bike in prior to avoid rush and nothing else.

  • Q. As my vehicle is Karnataka/Maharastra/Other states registered, do I need any permission for travelling during this trip?

    A. Vehicle should be registered on your name only and original Registration Certificate, PUC and insurance is required.

  • Q. Can we have any option in bikes?

    A. Yes, you have other options of Bajaj Avenger, Bajaj Pulsar 150cc, Yamaha FZ. (We can also provide you Harley Davidson bike on additional cost).

  • Q. What about the condition of bikes?

    A. We provide all bikes in perfect conditions, with adding new bikes to our fleet every year.

  • Q. Is the fuel cost including in this trip?

    A. No, the fuel cost is not included in this trip.

  • Q. How is the condition of road during whole trip?

    A. 60% Roads are in good condition, in other 40% you can experience off road driving.

  • Q. What riding gear do I need for Ladakh trip?

    A. This is the kind of trip riding gear is made for. Get a riding jacket, pants, shoes, gloves and full face helmet. Keep in mind that all of your riding gear should be good to go against rain, hail and snow.

  • Q. What if my bike gets damaged and we need to wait for assistance from nearby village? Will the team move forward? Will there be anyone from the organizing team to be with me waiting until the helps arrived?

    A. Yes we make arrangement, and a team member will be with you until the problem resolved.

  • Q. What will be the size of each batch? Minimum & Maximum?

    A. Minimum 25 maximum 40 pax.

  • Q. Can people with a car join? If yes then do they need to pay petrol charge? And in case of breakage of that personal car, will you be able to provide support? Will that be chargeable?

    A.Of Course guests can join us with a CAR/SUV/JEEP/.Our package is excluding of fuel charges for all segments. Expert bike mechanic and backup vehicle driver will be there but with minor knowledge of 4 wheelers but they can fix the problems on temporary basis.

  • Q. Is there any lack of oxygen during trip?

    A. Anybody travelling 10,000 feet above sea level will find difficulty in breathing or is likely to fall prey to altitude sickness. It happens due to low level of atmospheric oxygen. The biggest cause of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) is dehydration. People on the trip forget to drink enough water, they just keep on riding.
    To beat AMS, take the following steps:
    1. Drink lots and lots of water mixed with glucose.
    2. Take everything slow. Even little labor at high altitudes will leave you spent.
    3. Take one Diamox at Manali on the morning when you leave for Leh. Diamox takes one hour to start working.
    4. Dont push too hard, take the trip slow. Ascent slowly, decent slowly.
    5. If you feel the symptoms creeping up, stop and take some rest. Dont keep pushing.

  • Q. Food is included? What type of food? How many times?

    A. Yes. MAP (all Breakfast & Dinner 12 days).

  • Q. All accommodation in Hotels? Or tents too?

    A. Both in (70%:30%) ratio.

  • Q. If Hotels then what types of Hotels?

    A. Deluxe or 3 Star as per location.

  • Q. In case of Tents what type of tent? Igloo type? Waterproof? Will you provide bedsheets and pillow? Sleeeping bags? What about toilets?

    A. Swiss cottage, Waterproof, luxurious camps with bed.. swiss cottage tent comprises of a master bedroom with attached bathroom.

  • Q. My girlfriend also wants to join. So I am bit worried about safety and also washroom facilities during daytime. Can you explain on this?

    A. Most welcome no need to worry at all. We maintain strict discipline. Each and every guests has to follow the basic rules. There are so many public convenience at shops enroute hence she can use it.

  • Q. What is the amount of Tax on actual package cost?

    A. As of now its 4% but it would may change as 9% as per GOI notice.

  • Q. On day 1, it is showing Delhi to Pathankot which is around 500KM, so are we traveling all this distance by bike on single day?

    A. Yes, first day and last day we have to cover approx 500 KM and we all have to cover that distance by their own mode of transport i.e if any one joining us by bike then he/she will cover the distance by bike and same with the car. We have to travel on butter like highway in plains, so its not an issue. Thats why we will start the trip from Delhi by early morning so we will reach Pathankot by 6 or 7 PM in the evening. And rest of the day we are covering just only 150-200 KMs.

  • Q. Which network is accessible?

    A. During whole trip you can get BSNL network at some places, in Manali you can get every mobile network but in Ladakh region you can only access postpaid BSNL, Idea, Airtel and Vodafone.
